What is Chiropractic?

Because your nervous system controls everything in your body, including every organ, cell, tissue and muscle, an optimally functioning nervous system can enable your entire body to heal and perform at a higher level. And your spine is what protects your nervous system.

Chiropractors are trained to identify and correct issues in the spine and restore its proper function so the underlying nervous system can also work as intended.

Your First Visit

After completing your paperwork, you’ll meet with our chiropractor, Dr Laura Priestley, who will discuss your health history in more detail. She’ll conduct in-depth exams, including orthopaedic, neurological and postural assessments. If she believes X-rays are warranted, she will arrange for those as well.

Throughout this visit, Dr Laura will explain everything that she’s doing and answer all of your questions.

Your Second Visit

Before you return, Dr Laura will study your assessments in order to develop a customised care plan to help you meet your specific goals. At your second visit, she’ll explain in detail everything that she found, including what’s causing your symptoms, and how long it will take to get better.

Informed by the findings, the doctor will lay out her recommendations for care, including the frequency of visits and any lifestyle modifications that you may need to implement in your everyday life.

Ongoing Care

Every patient’s care plan is unique to them. Since education is a large part of our approach to care, Dr Laura will help you understand and identify the various physical, emotional and chemical stressors that are affecting your health – and discuss strategies you can use to help reduce these negative influences on your health and wellbeing.

Financial Matters

For a limited time, we have a new patient special offer of $79, which includes your first two visits with us (valued at $192).

Ongoing adjustments are $93 each.

Chiropractic care can be claimed on all private health funds in Australia with extras. We will provide a receipt which you can then use to submit a claim with your health fund.
